Matthew 14:29-30

Peter said to him, “Even though they all fall away, I will not.”  And Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”

Bible Reading for A Year: Psalm133; 2 Corinthians 6; 1 Chronicles 1-2

One day Joel Osteen asked to a famous circus player, tightrope walker about a secret of his family success who had become tightrope player for 7 generations.

That acrobat player then explained, “Joel, the secret is to focus your eyes on where your goal is. Do not ever to look at down. Wherever your head is, then your body is. If you look at down, there is great possibility for you to fall down. So you need to focus on where your goal is.”

Do you know that the principal of walking on the rope is also applicable into our lives? It also happens to Peter when he was walking on the water, when he looked to Jesus, he could walk on the water easily. However, when he looked around and to the dashes of raging water, he began to drown.

The question is, to where our focus now? If we focus on our selves and also the past, then the vision and mission that God puts on our lives is something impossible. But if we focus to the Christ and attach to Him, then believe that He will take us to the higher level.

No matter how big the storm is, it can not prevent you to fulfill God’s promise as long as you focus on Christ.
