"Then Jesus said to the crowds, His words: "I am the light of the world: I, he would not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Before Jesus had ascended into heaven, He gives a task to the faithful to proclaim the message of salvation to all people. Being His witness, that Jesus had come down to earth to die and rise redeemed us and anyone who believes in Him will get to live in Heaven with Him. We will be able to testify that the Holy Spirit has come upon us, that we have had peace, so we have a burning zeal to proclaim the message of salvation to those who are in our environment.
The words of Jesus in (John 8:12) are represented as the guarantee for us. Jesus is the Light of the world, Jesus illuminates our lives, so we do not walk in darkness. Thus we do not have to fumble in this life. We do not need to gamble or speculate in taking action. In the light of the guidance of the Lord Jesus, our goal clear to Heaven.
As a witness, the Lord will surely equip us with His blessings. We may not be a witness and to invite others to the Lord so that they receive the blessing of the Lord, but our own lives as beggars. As His witnesses, we live in the light. That light is Jesus, the Light that is the Holy Spirit who guides our steps to victory after victory until we receive eternal triumph in heaven.
