Being a Christian is about to live by following Christ’s example who had sacrificed His life on the cross. The Holy Spirit who dwells in our hearts enables us to have a life as Christ.
One aspect of Christ’s examples that we should follow is about the obedience. He has given us a sample that doing the Father’s willingness is the great obedience which delivers us. While being faced to the cup of suffering, Jesus says, “My Father, if it is possible, takes this cup of suffering from me! Yet not what I want, but what you want.” (Matthew 26:39)
Obedience must be done by each follower of Christ along their lives. Therefore, we are obliged to be faithful Christians till the end of our lives. It is not about to have a half obedience in a particular seasons (if we are blessed, healed, or cured), but it is about to have a full obedience in all seasons (while we are in crisis, sickness, etc).
One thing that God wants is about to have obedience in every situation. Obedience is an absolute requirement! Obedience is about to do God’s words faithfully. If we have obedience, we will get blessing and promotion from God.
