The Apostle Paul had some extraordinary hope and beliefs referring to the future of Christ’s followers. In 1Corinthians 15:19, Paul says, “If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.”
It means, Paul wants to pronounce about the understanding of there is no life after the death, there is no heaven, there is no promise of a better world so that life is empty, hopeless, meaningless or aimless at all. However, he affirms that life is not like that. As there is heaven ahead and one day “We are going to be with Him forever” (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
One day, we are going back to a place whereas there is happiness, joy, and peace. How flat our lives if we do not have hope at all. Knowing that heaven is so real so it brings some differences to our ways of life. We will not be bound by any matters in this world. We will say with Paul, “for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. (Philippians 4:11).
The important thing that we must think about together is you see those people who do not know Christ yet. Will you tell them about Christ?
Heaven is the second dwelling place which has already been prepared by Lord Jesus for believers after leaving this world.
