2 Corinthians 13:5

"Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? ––unless indeed you are disqualified."

Bible Reading for a Year: Proverbs 7; John 17; 1 Chronicles 27-29

“You are ...”; “I think you tend to ...”; “As I have said, you are ...” and many more. These phrases are very common in our daily conversation, spoken both by us or to us.

We are faster to examine others than ourselves. Do you know that when you point at other with your finger, the another four fingers point right to you?

Those who examine themselves are people who realize their inner being, including their weaknesses. After knowing their weakness, they can examine and be open to God, the examiner of their hearts. They will have more courage to upgrade themselves and to endure the process of life.

Have you built a habit of examining yourself? Are we smarter to examine others and angry towards those who examine ourselves?
