Parents are God’s representative for every child in the world. Each of us is a child and will be a parent in the future. As long as you become a child, how is your relationship with your parents? Surely you have to maintain the relationship because it is so that God wants for you.

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you. (Exodus 20:12)

It is one of the ten commandments of God to mankind. So, what if there are parents who do not care about their children? Many conflicts will arise in families, and children become victims of parental conflict. What to do when faced with a conflict child in the family or cope with life when parents leave them? If this is you and you don’t live in God, maybe you will feel alone and desperate. However, there is good news for those who live in God.

His Word amazingly tells us, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.” (Isaiah 49:15)

The Word of God is the answer for those who are or have experienced loneliness because abandoned or left by parents. Or maybe many conflicts in the family makes you feel unhappy. Very clearly God says that He will never leave you alone. He will not forget you; even He inscribed you on the palms of His hand.

He accepts you for who you are. Although there’s no one care about you, He cares for you. Tell Him what you feel, because He is God who will always hear your cries, especially when you feel alone.

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take care of me. (Psalm 27:10)
