There was a young lady named Ruth in the Bible. This young woman had a very big disappointment. Her husband died, and she could not see a bright future ahead. Then she decided to accompany her mother in-law, Naomi moved to her hometown.

But Ruth did not sit alone while feeling sorry for herself, instead of she rolled up her sleeves and took care of her mother in law's life . Early in the morning, she went to the fields and gathered the wheat and the rest so that her mother in-law could eat.

One day, the owner of the fields saw Ruth. His name is Boaz, he saw how beautiful she was and how diligent and hardworking she was. Interestingly, Ruth did not know there was someone watching her. Even she did not know Boaz. She just focused on work, did her best and took care of Naomi.

Lesson that we may take here is suffering and disappointment which happened in life do not make us to pity ourselves. Strengthen yourself, get back up and take responsibility for the life and happiness of you and your family. Work diligently, do the best as Ruth did. Believe that there are people who pay attention to you. That person may be your leader, your teammates, and if you do not believe that there are people who care about you, then remember that God's eyes are upon you.

Like Ruth, Boaz then made ​​a surprising move by taking Ruth as his wife. Ruth was no longer working in the field, she was promoted to the farm owner.

God can do the same with our lives; He will promote us when we are ready to receive it. God may use our leaders, our co-workers, or even someone we do not know at all to show that He has prepared a future full of hope for us . The decisive factor is how we respond in the face of suffering or disappointment.

Remember that there is always someone watching and ready to promote us!
