Esther 5:2

"When he saw Queen Esther standing in the court, he was pleased with her and held out to her the gold scepter that was in his hand. So Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter"

Bible Reading for A Year: Psalms 70; Hebrews 4; 2 Kings 20-21

Though Esther was a queen of Median and Persian, she was in vain to meet her husband, King Xerxes. The Bible noted that those were a provision of law that stated in bills at that time.

If anyone dared to violate - met without previously allowed by the king - then death would be the punishment.

Esther knew the rules of the kingdom very well so that she was overcome with fear when she was forced to immediately help the Jews whom would be destroyed by Haman.

In case of resignation, Esther finally took that responsibility as well. However, she realized that she needed the support of other people. Although not physically, but at least she was motivated by the spirit. Therefore, she asked Mordecai to alert the Jews in order to fast for 3 days for her.

On the third day, Esther went to the king. With the queen clothes, she went to the palace where Xerxes was. (Esther 5:2) also shows that the king was pleased (liked) to be met by Esther.

Probably one of you thinks that these could happen because Esther was beautiful. But the Bible clearly shows that miracle which was experienced by Esther is a blessing of God.

Fasting that Esther, his uncle, the Jews in Susa, and her ladies did for three days seriously had "forced" God to deliver His helps in a way that makes the heart of the King being glad when the king saw Esther.

Who are you afraid to be met today? Your boss or teacher that you ever disappointed many years ago? Or who? Whoever he is, please start to take a step of faith, fasting for the person.

Likewise Xerxes did to Esther, God will make him pleasing to accept you.

A true fasting has a great power
