The Changing Fasting!

A true Fasting has a very great power. It can move the hand of God to act so that all things can happen, from something which is impossible to something which is possible, yes and amen.
In Joel 1:1-20, written that the condition of Israel which was in a very worrying time. As human there is no any reason to hope, because all their ultimate harvests have been destroyed and dried! We can imagine how great their suffering.
There is no other way than to come and to cry out to God begging His mercy, and this is the path that can be restored, fasting heartily. "Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the Lord your God and cry out to the Lord."(Joel 1:14).
Therefore, when we have severe sickness, broken families, failed in business and human studies that had no roads or a stalemate, do not ever give up to the situation and have a lose heart! There is always a way in God.
The first thing we must do is having an introspection to ourselves, are there any things that are not acceptable in our lives. God wants us to humble ourselves and to have a holy fasting so that we can turn to Him. "Turn ye unto me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with a groan."
Crying and moaning means that we repent with regret over the sins and mistakes we have made. So we do not fast carelessly, or in wrong way (to get any praises or just out of habit).
