Ephesians 5:14

This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead and Christ will shine on you.”

Bible Reading for A Year:[bible]Psalm147[/bible];[bible]0John7[/bible];[bible]iiSam21-22[/bible]

If we look at the lives of the heroes of the faith that their life stories are written in the Bible, no one is perfect. They're just like us, full of weakness and also sometimes their faiths are up and down.

For example Abraham, he had used his wife for the safety of himself. Moses, he ran away from his responsibility for 40 years in the wilderness. David, he fell into adultery. Solomon, once he was wise though, he fell because of women, just like her father.

Perhaps those who live close to Jesus have a better record of lives. But the reality is not as well. Judas betrayed Jesus, Peter denied Jesus, and His other disciples fled when Jesus was arrested.

However that is God, He is not looking for perfect people or gifted. He is looking for someone who has a heart full of repentance. Unfortunately Judas did not have it, yet other heroes of the faith who has gentle heart and repent to find an opportunity to arise again and to fulfill God's calling in their lives.

Remember this truth: "He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the end," (Philippians 1:6). If you're like me, one of those who never made a mistake in life, just like the heroes of the faith, let's follow their example to have a heart of repentance and we fulfill a divine call that God has set for us.

Stop running away, come to Jesus and repent, start a new beginning in life and go for victory.
