A True Story of Fredy & Viska: True Love was Repaid with Betrayal

Fredy Nainggolan was a young man who occupied an established position in the office. His income was more than enough for single men or women. Like every other young man, he also fell in love with a girl named Viska.

To make Viska love him, Fredy kept approaching her in every ways. Fredy also approached Viska’s parents and he got warm welcome from Viska’s family.

“At that time there were so many men who tried to approach her, indeed, but I confidently kept going on and finally we’re engaged,” Fredy said.

They got permission from their parents, and love grew in their own hearts. Marriage vows had been spoken. However, obstacles were ready to confront their love.

Fredy felt like being hit by thunder when he knew he was fired. He became stressful and anxious; he blamed God as well. “Why does my life turn upside down?” However, Viska kept supporting Fredy so that he could be calm. She thought that there would be the best way out.

Despair came across Fredy, but his girlfriend was always there to accompany and strengthen him for real. All anxiousness turned into peace and joy. Later, they chose renting car as their own business.

Fredy rented a shophouse on a street and bought a used car to be rented. But this new business did not work because there’s few people who wanted to rent their car.

Fredy returned desperate gradually. He even intended to leave his car rental business. But once again, his lover faithfully supported him. Viska even frequently visited Fredy’s office to pray together.

While they called upon God in the prayer, He listened and stretched out His hands. Entering the next year, their car rental was started to be utilized by people.

And according to Fredy, the income from this car rental was much more than his past job.

Fredy and Viska’s standard of living began to spiral up. But suddenly an incident happened. Another woman came up in Fredy’s life. Their closenedd started when that woman frequently pour out her heart to Fredy.

One day Viska received a phone call from a woman who claimed to be Fredy’s girlfriend. Ahe never imagined to hearing such news. This immediately destroyed all her dreams. And a franks confession from Fredy broke her heart even more.

“I was so disappointed at Fredy,” Viska said, “…I was so depressed and wanted to kill myself…” She swallowed 20 pills but something strange happened; she did not die.

Since the burden was too heavy to take, Viska could only complaine and asked for hope from God. Fredy admitted all his sins before Viska and apologized. He felt so dumb that he dissipate the trust he had got.

Christ’s death at the cross to redeem her from sins enabled Viska to forgive Fredy. When forgiveness was released, Fredy was healed as well.

Fredy really felt Lord Jesus’ love; from his lover and a God’s servant as well. And Fredy was healed more completely. “I feel a relief inside me and when I remember my past, I feel like I’m the most stupid man ever,” Fredy said.

Having passed so many obstacles that tested the truthfulness of their love, the dream of a marriage finally came true.

The great love of God is revealed more and more in their life. Today, through the car rental business, God’s blessings become abundant upon this family. They live happily.

“I am so grateful to Jesus Christ that by His grace I have a life partner, that is my wife, because in trials she is faithfully supports me,” Fredy said.
