Mark
11:23
For assuredly, I say to you,
whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does
not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he
will have whatever he says.

Reading for a Year

Today we live in the days of
grace. Before the days of grace, our ancestors Adam and Eve lived in an age
without sin. And then there were the days of conscience, and Noah lived here. After
that, humans lived in the days of reign, and one of the biblical figures that
existed at that time was Abraham. Later on, we learn that Moses lived in the days
of patriarchs. Furthermore, after the time ended, there were the days of the Law
of Moses up to the days Christ was born.
Today is the days of the grace.
What makes these days different from the others? In the past days, people can
communicate directly with God. Today, we communicate differently. God sends His
Holy Spirit to you. It’s the Holy Spirit that guide and teach you.
But God’s works stay the same
in the past, in the present, and until forevermore. Nothing’s changed. He is
still able to do great things. In the days of Noah, He saved Noah and his whole
family. In the days of Abraham, He performed miracle. Abraham and Sara had a
son even though it’s logically impossible because they were already too old.
And in the days of Moses, He did great things. He guarded Moses. From the birth
of Jesus up to His death at the cross, God still performed miracles. He fed
five thousand people. He changed water into wine. He resurrected the deaths. He
healed the woman suffered from haemorrhages.
So, does God still perform
miracles today?
And
they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other
tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:4)
God has promised you that He is
with us up to today. He sends His Holy Spirit to you. When you are weary of
your burden, God can release it. When you are sick, His stripes heal you. There
is nothing God cannot do. He is able to do great things.
The question is, do you still
believe it? Or, would you believe it? As long as there is faith, there is
miracle. Let’s meditate on God’s mercy.
I
will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds. Your way, O God,
is in the sanctuary; Who is so great a God as our God? (Psalms 77:12-13)
When
our logic says impossible, God says everything is possible.
