Luke 12:37

Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching.

Bible Reading for a Year [bible]Psalm25[/bible]; [bible]Matth25[/bible]; [bible]iichr27-28[/bible]

Once upon a time, a teacher asked permission to leave the class in the middle of the lecture. The teacher said, “I am going to be in school office for a while. I hope it will not take too much time. I am sure you will not be noisy. Do your task while I leave.”

15, 20, then 40 minutes went by; and the teacher finally returned to the classroom. Very timely she looked at a student throwing an eraser to his friend that was doing the task. Meanwhile, another student was acting silly on the teacher desk.

These two students were finally punished. The rest of the class, who obeyed the teacher’s command, were happy for the return of their teacher. This occurence creates two sides. On one side, it was good news to those who obeyed. On the other side, it was bad news for the mischievous students.

The New Testament declares that Jesus will return! This warning and promise is found in Luke 12. It may be good news or bad news depending on the receiver.

Are you ready to welcome His coming? Jesus will return! Whether this would be good news or bad news; it depends on you.
