Bible Reading for a Year [bible]psalm14[/bible]; [bible]matth14[/bible]; [bible]iikin13-14[/bible]

How do you respond when people laugh at your dream? Here, the dream is not merely what you experience while you sleep. Dreams are projections inspired by God—dreams are agenda, plan, or target that would benefit for the glory of God. If we are in Joseph’s position, we must be so sad when our brothers laughed at and mocked our dreams. Even his own father did not believe the dreams he received from the Lord.

Many successful people are previously mocked for having their dreams. The dream God gives us usually does not make sense. He gives a dream personally, specifically, and obviously. Some biblical figures are considered ‘insane’ for having dreams, such as Noah who receives God’s mandate to build the ark, Moses who receives command to free the Israelites from Egyptian slavery, Joshua and Caleb who are convinced to conquer the Canaanites, and so on.

So far God has been doing the same thing—gives inspiration and dream to the heart of His children so that they will reach the extraordinary. Not only breathes the dream into our heart and mind, He also equips us to make them come true. But do not be surprised when we tell people the dream they would say, “You must be kidding! That is crazy! That is not going to happen!” And then they would laughed at you and leave you alone.

However, as you read the biography of the warriors of faith as well as successful people, you will find that a faithful man along with God is more powerful than a thousand people with average hope. Be the unique one with faith and perseverance to make the dream God has given come true. Make decision to live your life with extraordinary way—be above average. Do not die as the mediocre, instead, be a history maker!

Though a thousand people might laughed at your dream, but as long as you believe and keep faith in God’s promise the result will not be changed—being successful according to the Lord.
