The Reality of Heaven

Today, majority Christians in Indonesia are celebrating the Ascension of Jesus Christ. He ascended into the place we call heaven. But many of us do not have any idea what heaven really is, don’t we? However, the Bible contains some information about it for us which will go there.
It is written in Revelation 21:4 that heaven is where there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. Those things have passed away as we stay there together with Jesus Christ.
This is the highest reality of heaven. In the eternity, there will an intimate relationship between Christ and His church. He will be the Lamb of God in the middle of the throne, and He will lead them to the fountain of the water of life.
With such assurance and certainty, there will be no fear in the future of what we cannot go through. There are heaven and a place we dream of beyond the crisis. Therefore, Christians should not be filled with fear, despair, and frustration. Why? Because heaven lies before us!
There is no more beautiful and pleasant place like heaven.
