In the beginning of 2014, we have obviously seen many natural disasters striking this nation. The world is shaken when some volcanoes are about to be active and floods. However, are they the end times? Has God already ringing His alarm when He returns? No one knows when this comes into an end either angels or His own Son.
However God is clearly showing us its signs so that we may be alert and aware. These signs are many false messiahs and teachings coming out (Mat 25:5), wars (Mat 25:6-7a), natural disasters such as tsunami, earthquake, floods, drought, and famines are on the rise (Mat 25:7b), and the Gospel spreading out to all nations (Mat 25:14). Jesus told these incidents are alike a pain of a pregnant woman giving birth. When the time is getting closer, its frequency and escalation are bigger and stronger (John 16:21). It also happens to His return. When these signs are intensively happening, then His time is near.
As believers, we shall not fear and be anxious. Otherwise, we shall genuinely wait for His second coming. When His alarm is ringing, the pain which is alike a pregnant woman giving birth will be replaced by the unlimited joy of a healthy baby born. In our waiting, we are supposed to fill our days by His words and truth so that we are ready when He comes to pick us up as His beloved bride.
