The incident of the twin towers, World Trade Center in the United States in 2011 occurred when I was still in elementary school. I have already watched the video of the fall of the towers after being hit by planes which was reportedly hijacked for several times. Thousands of people who knew nothing were dead. I was so sad and was wondering, ‘Where are you, dear God?'
When unpleasant situation comes, we used to ask, "Lord, where are you?" We want an instant answer from Him. But have we ever thought about how God feels when we move away from Him? As He also asked us, "Where are you?"
Many things can keep us away from God such as work deadlines, social networking, and even food. In fact, God waits for us patiently, knocks the door of our hearts, and asks whether He could spend time with us ([bible]Revel3:20[/bible]).
We have many reasons to run away from the Lord: it could be as we are sinner so that we want to hide for fear of admitting it, or because we are lazy. Whatever it is, remember that He is always longing us when we are far from Him. He wants to impart the wisdom, to entertain, reinforce, and help us get out of struggles.
