In his book called “You Were Born for This”, New York Times popular author Bruce Wilkinson reminds the believers to channel the miracles for other people. Miracles are not merely about the supernatural God has done during His ministry time (changes water into wine, heals the blind man and the leper, raises the death man, and many more). In the book, we are taught to be mindful of others’ need, so we can be the pipeline for the miracles to those who put their trust in God.

God is creative in showing His works, and He does it through His children—us! The Bible says about how Mary experienced God’s miracle (read [bible]0luke1:38[/bible]). God chose Mary not only to be the womb of baby Jesus, but also to be the pipeline of miracles for human kind by giving birth to the Savior of the world.

This is God’s desire upon us. He wants to use our life to be the pipeline of His miracles, so the people waiting for God’s miracles can see and believe that nothing is impossible for Him (read [bible]0luke1:37[/bible]). In other words, those who have been called to receive His blessings can bless people surround them (read [bible]ipete3:9[/bible]).

God asks us to be involved. We might say, “How come? I have nothing to give!” If we doubt our capacity, be sure of what we’ve got. God never asks us something we don’t own. He asks us for something we have and He can turn it into a miracle for others. If you have experienced difficult times, why don’t you support those in financial crisis? If you have been in despair, and be encouraged again, why don’t you become a miracle for frustrated people through your hug? Stop asking for a miracle, but start praying that you become the pipeline of God’s miracle or God’s grace for others. God will work together with us when we have heart to influence others.

 

Stop asking for a miracle, but be a pipeline of God’s miracles for others!
