Cecep Siburian was highly respected in his hometown. In his young days, he fell in love with a young girl, Susi Greta, and later decided to marry her. However, the financial downturn urged Cecep to let his wife work to boost the economy.
At that moment, Cecep, who had been promoted as police assistant, allowed his wife to work in a night club. Having been working as waitress for 2 years, Susi was changed so much. As a husband, Cecep felt like he was betrayed every time he saw his wife served a lot of men.
Not only that, Cecep also had to accept the reality that his wife was a drug user. The first time he caught her using drugs, Cecep handcuffed and showered her. As a matter of fact, he did not have the heart to treat his beloved such way.
Even though she had been treated badly by her husband, Susi still used the drugs. Until one moment Cecep tried to give Susi a shock therapy: taking her to jail.
While looking at his wife in jail, Cecep confessed to feel devastated and regretful for all bad things he had done to her. Meanwhile, Susi was so sorry, ashamed, and afraid of the death. She repented and returned to the Lord. “Recently I was so afraid of the death. If I continue to use drugs, I can die young. So, I prayed, “Lord, help me father, help Your child. I want to stop using morphine, and I want to be a housewife. I want to be the best mother for my husband and children. Help me Lord, strengthen me O, Lord,”” Susi said.
After she was released, Cecep wholeheartedly took care and nursed Susi. The regret and hurt was paid with Cecep’s sincere love towards Susi. Finally, this family was totally healed by God.
