The first anniversary of Ibu Novi and her husband, a commemoration that should have been celebrated with joy, turned out to be the beginning of a disappointment. That day, Ibu Novi received the doctor’s words that the size of her ovary might not be suited for pregnancy. Her year of patience, occasional with envy for her family members or neighbors who were pregnant, only made her more desperate. But her husband reminded her to always pray and wait for God’s miracle to truly be realized.
Through chatting feature, Ibu Novi came to Sahabat 24 to ask for prayer support so she can remain patient in waiting for a baby in her new family. Two months passed, Ibu Novi was 2 day late, but she could not bring herself to get it tested because she was afraid of disappointment. Again and again, her husband encouraged her, and indeed God’s miracle was true! A quick test yielded positive result, so Ibu Novi and her husband went to see a midwife, and it turned out that she was already 5 weeks pregnant.
God is indeed amazing. He could turn the impossible into possibility.
