50 Prisoners in BNN Lido Sukabumi Seek Repentance

Last March, Sahabat 24 team held a Komsel Solusi session in BNN (The National Narcotics Agency) Lido Sukabumi. This event was attended by 50 participants with age range 25-40 years old. Drug abusers were not the only ones attending the event, as there were drug dealers as well. Some of them had gone through multiple rehabs after mingling with old friends.
During the Nobar event, they viewed an episode featuring Yerri Pattinassarani who was bound by drugs for 10 years before experiencing recovery. During the video viewing session, the room was silent and all the participants were focused on the Yerri’s life experience. As they went into the discussion session, not a single one of them was willing to share a life testimony until one person stepped up and began to share all his experience and confess to his sins. Thanks to the courage of this one man, the other participants began to open up also about their own stories. At the end of the discussion, they were all supported in prayer and wanted to make a new commitment to Jesus.
The spiritual counselor of BNN Lido Sukabumi said that the Nobar Solusi program from Sahabat 24 was a great blessing to the participants, as they became open and enthusiastic to share their own burdens and life stories. They hoped that the ministry would return again with other materials.
