2 Years of Lying Helplessly from Unknown Illness

Ibu Efi used to suffer from a wound on his left calf. It began from a mosquito bite that got increasingly itchy as the day went by. Even after seeing a doctor, the itch would not go away. Within a few months, the bite turned into a wound after being scratched too much. Ibu Evi and her husband have tried many different treatment options, from clinic to a hospital. But let alone getting a cure for it, no one even came close to determine what kind of illness it is. Some doctors even rejected her outright because they had no clue on how to treat her.
Because of the wound, Ibu Efi could no longer walk on her own. If she wanted to move around, she needed her husband to help her. When her husband was out working, Ibu Efi could only lie helplessly in bed, she did not want to eat, and she always found it difficult to sleep. Ibu Efi suffered from this condition for about 2 years. This condition eventually deteriorated her relationship with her husband. Rumor spread around that her sickness was a result of a curse by a sort of black magic.
Until at an opportunity, Ibu Efi felt moved to ask for prayer support from Sahabat 24 after getting their number from Solusi TV program. Through phone call, she confessed about the illness she was suffering from and asked to be supported through prayer. Before praying for Ibu Efi, the counselors of Sahabat 24 firstly explained about sin, as something that prevents God’s blessings from reaching us. The counselors asked Ibu Efi to ask for forgiveness before God any mistakes or sinful sins she has committed in the past. The counselors also told Ibu Efi that once someone has accepted Jesus Christ as their God and savior, they are given the power over any dark influence. The counselors also recommended that Ibu Efi and her family unite together every day for a family worship and prayer session. After giving the explanations, Sahabat 24 counselors then proceeded to pray for Ibu Efi and denounce any dark influence from her.
Few hours after the prayer, Ibu Efi felt a great pain in her leg, as if a needle was sunk deep into it. It was so painful, something that she has never felt before. Ibu Efi then woke up and sit at the edge of her bed. She could only pray because she could no longer bear the pain. When her husband came home from work, he was really surprised because there was a lot of pus seeping out of his wife’s wound. They sat around and waited until all the pus came out of the wound. For the first time in years, Ibu Efi felt her appetite came back to her, and now she could sleep. After her leg felt better, she tried to walk around. What a miracle! After 2 years of only being able to lie around helplessly, she could finally walk again. Slowly but surely, Ibu Efi tried to do house chores that she has abandoned for such a long time. Her family was also restored by the Lord, as her relationship and her husband got better as well. The couple realized just how good and miraculous Jesus Christ is.
Just like when she was still sick, her recovery started another swirl of rumor. Ibu Efi became a topic of conversation due to her miraculous recovery. They initially thought that Ibu Efi was healed by dark power. But Ibu Efi used the rumor as an opportunity to testify about the work of God in her life.
Ibu Efi explained to her neighbors how God has helped her recover, including how God led her to meet Solusi and their counseling center Sahabat 24. Praise the Lord, her testimony bore its fruit, as a lot of her neighbors also contacted Sahabat 24 for consulting.
