Since childhood, Edwin Yahya was used to getting some harassment from his father. His father worked as a manager of a night club and used to coming home late and getting drunk. At that situation, Edwin and his mother were frequently slammed by his father. How is the next story? Here is a true story of Edwin Yahya and his bitterness.
Edwin really hated his father. In fact, he once planned to take a revenge of what his father did to his family when he grows up someday. His bitterness was getting bigger and caused him being stuck in drugs. Though he has taken an overdose for several times, Edwin was not sorry at all.
Until one day, a miraculous thing happened to him. “It is about 12 pm and I feel a bright light getting into my room and directly striking my face. I clearly hear an audible voice saying, ‘Edwin, when do you stop grieving Me?’ Though you are far away from Me, I still love you till the end.’ When I hear it, I am alike being slammed incredibly,” Edwin said.
Since then, he realized that he has hurt either his parents or God. He then decided to change his life. He left away his past (drugs, free sex, and brawl) and began to pray and read the Bible every day.
He had made a right decision by forgiving his father and genuinely getting back to Jesus. Now he has the maximum life in Jesus and other people. “I have received a blessing, salvation, and a second chance to repent. For me, He is my only Savior, Jesus, and Lord in my life.”
