The general perception might say to have happiness; someone should be the number one. Sometimes they have no doubt to do everything in order to achieve it even hurting other people. He becomes the center of all.
The question is, does it make you happy? No! As we know from the experience there is no a true happiness if we go through that way.
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves (Philippians 2:1-3).
This is the formula to happiness that God gives to us; giving the priority to others by serving each other. It is contrast to what world is showing now. We should not focus on our selves, otherwise, God wants us to care others.
The formula to happiness is instead of making us as the number one but other people.
