4 Characters in the Bible Who Prophesied About Jesus

There are some characters in the Bible especially in the Old Testament who had ever prophesied the arrival of Jesus into the world which is called as Christmas. Those who had ever prophesied or seen the arrival of Jesus or even before it happened are:

Isaiah

In the 9th passage, Isaiah wrote that gloom which happened to that land would come to an end. The people walking in darkness have seen a great light. Even it is stated clearly, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace ([bible]Isaia9:1-6[/bible]).

Daniel

Gabriel came to Daniel as a man who was loved by God and he said Jerusalem would be restored and rebuilt for seventy times until the arrival of the Anointed One, the King ([bible]Danie9:25-26[/bible]).

Micah

Micah told us where Jesus was born; Bethlehem Ephrata. It is stated in [bible]Micah5:1-4[/bible]. In that passage, declared that He will be the peace, yet the name of ‘Jesus’ is never mentioned. Micah also said that He would be great until the ends of the earth and we may see that prophecy has already been fulfilled.

Zechariah

This book mostly talks about the arrival of Messiah ([bible]Zecha9-14[/bible]). This book also declares that Messiah will be coming by riding a donkey. Messiah will bring peace upon the nations and His territory will spread out until the ends of the earth.

The prophecy of these prophets who come from different ages has already been fulfilled since Jesus was born. He died for us and rouse again.  His life and death bring a great impact, but His resurrection and victory over the death bring much more assurance for us that our sins has already been redeemed. Therefore, use what you have for His glory.
