The Reason Why Jesus Was Crying

In the New Testament, described that Jesus cried out for several times. The reason of His crying is actually different with what man did. He did not cry for feeling pain, upset, disappointed, being tortured, flogged, or crucified on the cross. He cried out for another reason, such as:

He is a caring Father ([bible]0Luke19:41-42[/bible])

Jesus went to Jerusalem. At that time He was riding a colt and as he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it. He saw that if they had only known on this day what would bring them peace. He was so concerned so that He wept for us.

Jesus knows our suffering ([bible]0Luke19:43-44[/bible])

Jesus said that the people of Jerusalem would be surrounded, encircled, hem by their enemies from every side, and would be perished.  Jesus can see the future and He knows what we have been going through. Amazingly, He wept for us.

He is Loving ([bible]0John11:35-36[/bible])

When Lazarus was pronounced dead, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. He then wept for him. Those who were seeing the moment said that Jesus really loved Lazarus, His creation.

The same God has come down from heaven and became a man. He also feels, concerns, knows, and understands our suffering. He loves us heartily. He is the only God we worship.
