A True Story of Posman Tobing who Survived from Fatal Accident

Posman was an actor who had played roles in some movies in Indonesia. But there’s one incident in his life that left trace in his and his family’s mind. One day, Posman and his family planned to have a vacation in Subang, West Java. But somehow when they were about to leave, Posman had no intention to go. He did not feel like going, even he wanted to put it off. However, having looked at his family’s enthusiasm, he reluctantly joined them.

Before leaving, Posman checked the whole car; the machine, the brake, and many more. It’s all alright and had no problem. Finally, they left. During the trip Posman felt upset because he intended not to have the vacation. He became grumpy along the way. One thing that made him more upset was when the car exited the wrong toll gate, so that they missed the right way. Posman was grumpier because he was blamed. To vent anger, he turned the car back and forth. Despite his family member started to grumble, he did not care. He kept driving in zig zag lane.

After exiting from the toll gate, Posman finally looked for someone who was able to conduct their way. Later, he met Asep, the guide. Asep rode the motorbike in front of his car. In the crossroads, suddenly Mr. Asep braked. Posman was confused, and he eventually braked as well. But somehow the brake did not work. Because of panic, Posman immediately swerved the car to the right. He did not realize that the car was heading into a cliff.

Immediately, the family’s joke halted, exchanged into panic and screaming for help. They rolled down into the cliff as far as 100 meter, even more. At that time, death was a choice for Posman and his family. They became sank deeper and deeper into the cliff. At that time, Posman immediately screamed and asked Lord Jesus to help him.

Finally, the car stopped rolling. Later, Posman realized that he was still alive. He immediately thanked God. Even though Posman was quite sure that he would die at that time, yet he was grateful that he was still able to see his family for one more time. All his family members survived and they lightly wounded. At last, local residents helped them to get out of the car and climb out of the cliff.

Posman was sure that without God, it’s impossible for them to survive from the fatal accident. The deep cliff and the wrecked car proved that God’s miracle was real. From the incident, Posman was enlightened that Lord Jesus is real. He is a Helper, a Rescuer. He is above all, He is a Savior.
