For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

When I was 12 years old, I was so curious to the Bible that my father gave when he got retire from his work. That Bible was in a particular box which made of cedar wood and written The Holy Bible. I thought that “holy” is something weird for me and forbidden. However, I still looked inside its box. In the midst of its cover, there was a picture of Jesus hanged on the cross with a written verse from John 3:16. At the upper side, there was a red transparent plastic which I considered as His blood.

Sometimes, when there was no one around me, I took the Bible from the shelf carefully, opened its box, looked to His picture, read its verse and kept asking about Him and why He died. Is His love for me or forbidden.

Few years later, I heard a sermon about how God has prepared the way to accept His love through Jesus. Romans 5:1-2 says, “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.” I believe and take the resurrection from Jesus for my all sins.

Don’t you thank Him that Bible and His love is not forbidden for you? Take His forgiveness now - the forgiveness which is aimed for sinners, you and I. Amc
