In every day, you and I are faced by the option and the decision that we must make. Today, our life is the result of every options that we made in the past. However, there is devided line that could be seen easily. Today, every one of us can choose to walk in life or death.
Thousand years ago, the human was infected by spiritual death poison through Adam’s falling. Sin had changed the human being, whom was designed to walk in the majesty of the Creator into the lively creature in darkness. However, all those things were changed by Jesus Christ’s birth, A Man with the most noble hearts. Jesus spread His love messages, love and healing not only by mere words, but also by embracing and reaching them out, for those who hurted in His around and healed them obviously by His gently touching and love.
Jesus, through his death and resurrection, He is not only to atone for sins but also to open the door in order to establish the relationship between people who had already lived in the darkness with a holy God. Jesus once said that what was spoken by the mouth was overflown from heart (Mat 12: 34) . Our fate of life in this world is determined by the choices we make.
Those people who choose to reject Jesus's life that was offered through His death choosing to walk in the darkness than in the light. All deeds and their hearts that have been filled and driven by selfishness. Sin has been injected into the desires and passions of the human heart, which is the dominant characteristic of the crime. We can see a pattern in those who choose spiritual death than life. Their lives are driven by the desire to run their own agenda.
This spiritual death is seen in many forms. Some are obsessed with power and influence, while others pursue pleasure in all its forms. Whatever path is taken, the root and essence of life that ended in the hell is a selfish ambitions to live as they want. There is no other purpose to bare this life than to please ourselves.
However they also choose a different path. They are the people who make choices based on the truth. Jesus offers to every human being the option of life or death. We can choose to accept Him as Lord and Savior or follow our own path. Those who choose to give up their lives to follow Jesus would be transformed from the inside to outside. When we are walking with Jesus and getting closer with Him, our minds are getting change in Him.
The true followers of Christ were driven by a very different agenda from those who do not live in righteousness. The followers of Christ are not immune from the suffering and pain they are experiencing, but their lives are controlled by their ideals higher than their selfish ambition for power or pleasure. Those who choose life, putting their lives to serve Jesus, transformed through a personal relationship with Him.
The more time we spend with Jesus, the more we become unselfish man. Know that those whose lives are no longer with selfishness had become the biggest threat to the devil. All sins, whatever it is, is an act born of selfishness in many forms. Each of us must choose life over death. Each of us is confronted on the road to heaven or hell, and it's not too difficult to tell which way are we choose. The lives we live every day gives mute testimony of who and what we are.
Your choice today is the key which will bring you to the death or life in eternity.
