In Despair, Caleb Feels God's Love Through Solution Program

Sahabat24

Caleb is from Medan. After graduating from high school, he decided to study in Jakarta. Being away from home, he often goes to discotheques, never goes to church, let alone prays and reads the Bible. As a child, going to church was just a routine because his parents told him to.

Until finally, the plane that his father was flying from Jakarta to Medan had an accident in 1997. All passengers were declared dead. This news has left Caleb and his family devastated. This fact made him the head of the family, because he is the first child.

He felt unable and for the first time needed God's help. One night he couldn't sleep and finally found the Solution Program on TV. Caleb suddenly burst into tears, felt God was touching him, and felt God's love flowing through his life. Since then he has been diligent in participating in the Solutions event.

On October 20th, 2020, Caleb contacted Sahabat 24 after watching a program called Solusi about a mother who had billions of debts and wanted to commit suicide. At that time, Caleb said that he was a real estate developer. He built the business together with his friends.

The pandemic has made it difficult to pay. Caleb also just found out that his friends have received payments from subsidies from the government. However, the money that should be Caleb's right, was never given by his friends. This left him disappointed and feeling betrayed.

Caleb asked Friend 24 for help to pray that God would move his friends' hearts to pay for the money that was his share. He also asked for help so that the cost of his treatment when he was exposed to Covid could also be disbursed immediately.

November 9th, 2021, Caleb again contacted Sahabat 24 and brought good news. He said that the costs while he was hospitalized due to Covid were finally reimbursed by the government. Even though the friends he prayed for have not paid Caleb's rights of nearly 2 billions, Caleb is trying to forgive them.

It was quite difficult at first, but the counselor's encouraging words from Hebrews 10, 'Vengeance is mine, I will seek vengeance', made him commit to forgiving them. Finally, in the midst of his unstable economic condition, God still opened the door of His blessing in other ways. Caleb believes that God will provide for all his needs.

To this day, Caleb has also contributed to become a CBN Partner. He was very grateful to know the Solusi Program and Sahabat 24 which reintroduced him to God, strengthened him during his struggles through testimony and prayer.
