1 Corinthians 3:6-7

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

Today’s scripture written by the Apostle Paul reminds us of taking care of a tree. I remember when I was young, and my dad planted small trees in the backyard. After planting, my father said, “I have planted this tree, now it’s your turn to water, and treat them well, and apply fertilizer unto them regularly.”

Like what my father has asked me, I began to take care of the trees every day, regularly. I made sure the trees were watered, pest-free, and fertilized a few times a month. It took several years for the tress to grow and bear good fruits.

Everyone has a purpose in planting a tree. One of which is to take the fruits it bears. In order to bear the great fruits, a tree requires so much effort over and over again, regularly. Like those two trees, which have been treated well every day, in the end they produce great fruits.

So, if you really want to make a change in your life, do the good habit every day, regularly. Don’t be tired glorifying the Lord and meditating on His words days and nights. As you do so, you will see that God gives you the increase.

Plant and water the tree of kindness every day, so you can bear great and sweet fruits.
