His Miracle Saves Me from Amputation

Diabetes mellitus is a disease with high risk of complication. Among which is the risk of ulcus diabeticum, also known as diabetic leg ulcer, which causes the wound on the leg of the sufferer to not heal. It is often characterized with deep wound surface, along with swell and distinct rotten smell. Leg ulcer is the main reason of amputation for diabetes patients (source: www.konimex.com)
This disease was also what a respondent of Sahabat 24, Ibu Elan, used to suffer. In 2014, Ibu Elan contacted Sahabat 24 team to ask for prayer support so that she could recover from diabetes. At that time Ibu Elan had a small wound in her right leg from a toothpick cut, the wound eventually swell, and she had a terrible fever and had to be treated for two weeks in the hospital.
Because the condition of her leg only got worse, the doctor suggested an amputation. But the doctor’s suggestion was immediately rejected by her family. They united in faith in the Lord that Ibu Elan could eventually be healed. And indeed, a miracle took place! Just within 3 months, a God’s servant came to her and pray for her, and right at that moment she could walk again. The wound on her leg eventually dried out and only left a small scar.
During mid-2015, Ibu Elan once again contacted Sahabat 24 to give a joyful news. This was the content of her message:
“Thank you for the support of the counselors during my recovery process. Today my leg is already 100% healed even without surgery! God’s miracle feels so real,” she said.
