Be Careful of the Devil’s Manipulation

If you won a jackpot where you have to
choose between a car, a phone, and a luxurious pair of shoes, most
likely you would go for the car, as it has the most value out of the
three prizes. When you believe in God, you are also winning a jackpot.
Your life partner is among the best gifts that God may give you. But
many of us do not accept this gift. Worse, there are a lot of us who are
not yet aware of this amazing gift that God has prepared for them.
Meanwhile, the devil always attempts to take this prize for us through
bargain and temptation. This is also true if we read from the story of
Esau (Genesis 25:29-34).
Different from Esau, Ricky, a loyal viewer of Generasi Zeru,

talents are prepared by God for us as his best gifts. But many of the
Lord’s children, mostly the next generation, are willing to trade their
gifts with worldly desires like pornography, money, lust, appearance,
etc. It is like trading a pearl with a plastic imitation.
“Do
not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you
do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to
pieces.” – Matthew 7:6
