Mat 13:19

“When any one heard the word of the kingdom, and understand it not, then cometh the wicked one, and caught away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.”

Bible Reading for a year: Proverbs 1; Revelation 7; Esther 7-8.

When someone plants or spreads the mango seed in the soil that he has already manage then that man will somehow harvest a mango. How good and how many those mangoes that he will get depend on how well he manage that soil from before its seed is planted until the sprout emerges and keep growing to be a tree.

Soil is often made to be illustration by Lord Jesus to describe human’s heart. As soil has potential to accommodate plant seed, then human’s heart is created by God in order to have potential receiving God’s words.

Of course, every one of us wants to live rightly and acceptable in God’s heart. If it is so, then we will definitely manage our heart to be open to the truth and His love, otherwise, we then will reject and throw away the wrong teaching and the wrong principals.

However, the human often prefers to like the comfort than his old belief/religion and feels that his self has already been good and right, so that they can’t manage his heart to believe and accept the good news and truth teaching which come from Lord Jesus, the only son of God.

As the verse above, many human are considered to be not understand about the words of Heavenly kingdom, because they make their heart as an unfertile field, however as ‘a heart in the edge of street’, and that’s why the seeds are deprived by birds.

This time, we are in the end of year and every one of us wants to harvest good things and acceptable. But the question is, is there any seed planted in our heart? If there is, what kind of soil that we have in our heart?

The main problem is not about the seed, but it’s about the kind of its soil. Therefore, your heart soil determines how much harvest that you will get.
