When Internet Limitations No Longer Stops Children in Papua from Being Discipled

At the end of May 2026, the Superbook trainer team flew to Papua to meet the urgent needs of local churches in activating the Superbook Sunday School curriculum available in the “CBN Disciple” app.
Two training sessions held on May 27 and 30, 2026, in Ransiki and Prafi Manokwari, West Papua, successfully equipped 42 Sunday School teachers. Kak Yohana and the Superbook training team didn’t just teach the teachers how to access the curriculum — they also equipped them with creative and relevant teaching skills, supported by a rich variety of engaging materials from the Superbook curriculum.
Previously, Superbook Sunday School ministries in Papua often faced significant challenges due to limited internet access. Now, thanks to the CBN Disciple app with its offline mode, teachers can continue teaching and discipling children even in areas with weak or no network connection. Even with simple tools like connecting a phone to a computer via cable, Superbook materials can still be used creatively and effectively.
