No Longer the Same, Children in Amber Village Have Been Transformed Since Joining Super5

Through the CBN Ministry Center located in Manokwari, West Papua, CBN Indonesia continues to reach the children of Papua with the transformative power of Super5 Early Childhood Education.
Praise God! 2025 has become a historic milestone for CBN Indonesia. A total of 18 local church-based early childhood education centers were equipped, and 529 children are being discipled daily through the Christ-centered Super5 curriculum.
In 2026, Super5 is expanding further by supporting 32 new Kindergarten from the sixth batch.
Our support goes far beyond providing a curriculum. CBN Indonesia also empowers teachers through comprehensive training, effective teaching implementation, and strengthened school management systems using modern media and technology. We also provides nutritious breakfasts for children and free medical clinic for the surrounding community. This intervention unsure that every children grows holistically—in mind, body, and faith.
The First Graduation of Merpyoba Amber Kindergarten
This year, we are grateful to celebrate the graduation of students from 40 Super5 Kindergarten centers across various regions, including Super5 Merpyoba Amber PAUD in Amber Village, West Papua.
For the first time in the history of Amber Village, a graduation ceremony was joyfully celebrated. Eight little children proudly as the very first graduates of Merpyoba Amber Kindergarten, the only early childhood education center in this village.
“I feel so proud. After teaching and nurturing them for a whole one year, today the children have completed their learning journey well,” shared Mrs. Yullince, Principal of Kindergarten Merpyoba Amber.
Merpyoba Amber Kindergarten was established by GPKAI Ora et Labora Church in response to the needs of children in Amber Village, where consistent early childhood education had previously been unavailable. When the school joined CBN Indonesia’s Super5 program in 2025, it received more than a curriculum—it became a source of light and hope for the entire village.
Not Just the School, The Entire Village Is Being Transformed
Mrs. Yullince has personally witnessed the transformation that took place in just one year.
1. Children who previously could not speak Indonesian are now beginning to use the language. Early childhood education has become an open door to help every child learn and grow.
2. Nutritious breakfasts, toys, and books have become tangible expressions that show these children are valued and worthy of the best.
3. The community now has access to a free medical clinic. Reguler visits that had never taken place before are now reaching this remote area, bringing care and support to a place that had long been overlooked.
4. The church has become a home for children, parents, and the community. GPKAI Ora et Labora, which oversees this kindergarten, has become a place that equips teachers and parents to disciple the next generation together.
“We are no longer the same as before. Now, we are growing,” she shared.
Merpyoba Amber Kindergarten is one of the schools with a deep desire to reach young generation in the remote areas of Papua. Through Super5, CBN Indonesia supports churches, teachers, and parents to create joyful learning spaces that build both knowledge and faith of children.
We believe that the simple seeds planted today will grow into a great harvest for the next generation.
