From Humble Beginnings to Fruitful Growth: The Story of Holistic Disciple Making through Super5 Kindergarten Mutiara Kasih Kupang

In 2024, Kindergarten (PAUD) Mutiara Kasih officially registered to implement the Super5 curriculum from CBN Indonesia for the first time.
At the time, the school was still in its early stages. Yet the openness and trust they placed in Super5—to equip their teachers and support the school’s needs—have borne real fruit.
Now, two years later, PAUD Mutiara Kasih is not only sustaining itself but continues to grow into a holistic learning environment, including:
1. Providing Curriculum & Training
Super5 delivers a curriculum rooted in Christian values, enriched with quality educational technology and media, along with ongoing training for the teachers of PAUD Mutiara Kasih—laying a strong foundation for holistic learning from an early age.
2. Providing Nutritional Support
Since 2025, children at this kindergarten have been receiving nutritious breakfasts through Super5—an initiative designed to support better nutrition and optimal growth from an early age.
3. Creating a Vegetable Garden & Chicken Farm
Super5 has established a vegetable garden and a small chicken farm as a hands-on learning space for the students. The vegetables and eggs produced not only enrich their learning experience but also help supplement their daily nutritious meals. This way, children don’t just learn—they also enjoy healthy, nourishing food every day.
4. Equipping Parents Through The Parenting Project
Super5 goes beyond supporting children by also investing in parents. Through The Parenting Project, parents are equipped with practical skills to nurture their children in a healthy, loving, and harmonious way at home. As a result, children receive holistic support—both at school and within their families.
Story of How Super5's Holistic Support Product Transformation
Sefanya, 4 years old - Student at PAUD Mutiara Kasih
Sefanya is known as a bold and energetic little girl — but when it came to food, she was incredibly picky. She would often refuse to finish her vegetables, fruit, or the meals served at school. With patience and consistency, her teachers encouraged her every day, offering gentle praise and explaining the benefits of nutritious food in simple, pressure-free ways.
By the second week, something began to shift. Sefanya started eating bananas with enthusiasm — and little by little, she began finishing everything on her plate.
Before the nutritious breakfast program was introduced, Sefanya weighed 19 kg and stood 105.2 cm tall. After just one month of receiving a healthy breakfast every day, she grew to 20 kg and 106 cm.
'We are so grateful to the teachers at PAUD Mutiara Kasih and everyone who has supported this program,' her parents shared.
Mrs. Yorince – Parent & The Parenting Project Participant
Mrs Yorince’s marriage was once marked by frequent conflict, as both she and her husband struggled with stubbornness. When she received an invitation to join The Parenting Project in PAUD Mutiara Kasih, she came with one hope—to learn how to build a more peaceful family. In the third module, she discovered a simple yet powerful key that changed everything: learning to yield and truly listen to one another.
“If husband and wife continue to hold on to their ego, it is the children who suffer,” Mrs. Yorince shared.
Today, she continues to grow in setting a positive example for her children and is committed to creating a home that feels safe and nurturing for them.
