Prayer Center Guidance Leads to Healing in Darius’ Relationship with His Father

Sahabat24

Through the Superyouth media program, CBN Indonesia continues to reach young people online with the Gospel. Praise God, your support has enabled Superyouth content to reach many young people who are struggling and in need of hope, allowing them to receive ministry and experience transformation through CBN Prayer Center. One of them is Darius Musa, a 26-year-old young man from Medan, North Sumatra.

At the end of 2024, Darius watched a Superyouth video on YouTube about restoring relationships. The message deeply touched him because he was going through a serious conflict with his father. At that moment, he felt prompted to reach out to CBN Prayer Center.

“At that time, I saw a Superyouth video on YouTube about the relationship between parents and children. It was exactly what I was going through because I was having problems with my father,” he shared.

Darius openly shared the pain he felt after his father rejected him and cut off communication for a year. The conflict stemmed from long-standing feelings of favoritism and differences in perspective after their mother passed away in 2022.

“I felt that my father favored others since I was young because he had hoped for a first child who was a girl. After my mother passed away in 2022, he became close to another woman. I told him, ‘You don’t need to marry again. Just focus on your children.’ But he thought I was interfering. We argued, and he even said that I was no longer his son,” Darius recalled.

Darius admitted that the experience left him deeply hurt. However, through the guidance of CBN Prayer Center, he began to know Jesus, joined a church community, and eventually decided to be baptized. Since then, his heart has gradually opened to forgiveness.

“After being born again, the hatred I once had toward my father turned into forgiveness. Now there is peace in my heart,” he said.

Not long after his baptism, something unexpected happened—his father reached out to him again.

“My father was the one who contacted me first,” he shared with emotion.

The relationship that had once been broken has now been restored. Through this journey, Darius has chosen to accept his father’s decision to remarry while continuing to grow in faith—relying on God each day through prayer, devotion, and worship.
