Love Beyond Limits: The Faithful Journey of Super5 Kindergarten Teachers in Serving the Next Generation

Being an early childhood teacher is not an easy choice - especially for those serving in the most remote areas of the nation—amidst limited learning facilities, a lack of teaching training, and a life of devotion paid only in hard work and sacrifice. Yet there we witness something extraordinary: the sincere love of teachers in educating the next generation.
Today, 1,900 Super5 Kindergarten teachers faithfully serve across Indonesia. They come from diverse backgrounds—some started with no prior teaching experience, while others had to struggle without adequate learning materials. But God made a way through Super5 to walk alongside them, step by step, answering every challenge they faced.
Through established partnerships, these teachers are equipped with teaching competency training, the structured Super5 curriculum, and creative media-based learning materials. Slowly but surely, limitations are replaced by opportunities. Today, they teach with wider smiles, continuing to sow seeds of hope for the future of every child.
Inspiring Stories of Super5 Kindergarten Teachers
Messi Yovita Djong, S.Sn – Teacher at Super5 Kindergarten Ecclesia Atambua
At the age of 34, Mrs. Messi left the comforts of life in Jakarta to answer God's calling to serve children at Super5 Preschool Ecclesia Atambua. As an Interior Design graduate, she chose to faithfully teach in a modest classroom within the church, amidst various limitations. Her profound love for the children keeps her moving forward, and through Super5, she has been equipped with new teaching competencies—turning her ministry into seeds of kindness and hope for the future of the next generation.
'Many children here come from troubled families; some are neglected, their parents are divorced, and some have even experienced violence. The challenges are immense. But praise God, many children have changed. From being passive and glued to their gadgets, they are now more disciplined, willing to help their parents, and some have even achieved success in English competitions,' said Mrs. Messi.
Adiel Ninef – Teacher at Super5 Kindergarten Batu Karang Nonohonis
Equipped with only simple experience in church ministry, Mrs. Adiel Ninef (34) was entrusted to teach at Super5 kindergarten Batu Karang Nonohonis. In the midst of this call, her life was put to the test—her husband lost his job and fell ill, forcing her to become the family’s breadwinner with very limited income. Yet not a single day did her spirit falter in educating the children. Her faithfulness bore fruit; through the teacher salary subsidy from Super5, she has been able to slowly build a modest home for her family.
Although the house is not yet finished and her husband is still recovering, Mrs. Adiel’s joy remains unshaken every time she sees the children learn and grow. “I continue to serve with joy, because I believe God uses people like CBN to be a channel of blessings,” she said.
Wahyu Widayati – Teacher at Super5 Kindergarten Harapan Bangsa Kediri
Since 2019, Mrs. Wahyu Widayati (45) has faithfully taught the children of Harapan Bangsa Preschool in Kediri despite many limitations. For years, she was only able to teach basic literacy and numeracy—not because she lacked the desire to give her best, but due to a lack of resources and training. The longing to grow was always there, even when the path seemed narrow.
The opportunity to become a better teacher arrived when Harapan Bangsa Kindergarten partnered with Super5 in 2025. She felt deeply equipped through regular training and learning to implement the provided curriculum. 'Everything is well-structured, yet it still allows me to be creative with additional activities,' she shared.
With her new competencies, Mrs. Wahyu yearns to educate every child to their fullest potential, shaping them into individuals of excellent character who live out the values of truth from an early age.
