Act of Faith That Leads to God's Presence

Warm greetings to every CBN Partner
At the start of this month, our ministry dedicated time to a Prayer Journey. All CBN leaders and staff fasted and prayed. For me, it was a beautiful day—we fasted in an atmosphere of worship, listened for God's voice through moments of reflection on His Word, and prayed in unity.
Through this fast and prayer, I was reminded of Acts 13:2-3, when the congregation in Antioch took time to 'fast and pray', and the Holy Spirit spoke to them. It says, 'Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.' Fasting and prayer brought God's presence upon them, allowing the Holy Spirit to speak and declare God's will for Barnabas and Saul. Without hesitation, they immediately left to do what God called them to do.
CBN Partner, fasting and praying is an act of faith for us to personally experience God's presence and to experience it as a corporation. Perhaps these days you are in a difficult and challenging situation—your spirit is dimming, your calling is becoming vague, your family is struggling, or perhaps your finances are unstable. But it is precisely in this situation that we need to take time to set ourselves apart for fasting and prayer. And when we come into God's presence, the Holy Spirit will gently speak and convey His will for the situation we face—it could be through the Word you read, through praise and worship, or through your own prayers.
When His will is revealed, let us take action to obey it. This is my prayer for all of our Partners—may God continue to speak over your life and direct you in alignment with His calling and will.
