Thousands of mothers and fathers have taken this opportunity to learn how to be better parents through The Parenting Project — a discipleship program for parents that has now been adopted by more than 1,900 local churches across Indonesia.
As of July 2025, participants continue to be discipled regularly, and most have completed all the teaching series. We have received countless heartfelt and humble testimonies, sharing the real changes they experienced before and after joining the program.

'I used to think I was a good enough father. I worked hard, provided for my family, and educated my children as best I could. But I was wrong.
My wife and I were often busy and tired, which led us to lose control and speak harshly to our children, and even argue in front of them. We thought it was in any household but we didn't realize how deeply we were hurting their hearts.
Everything changed when we joined The Parenting Project. Through the module 'Becoming a Father', I learned that being a father isn't just about responsibility; it's also about being a role model.

'I am a mother of two daughters, ages 7 and 6. Because I also work selling goods, I am often tired. Sometimes, without realizing it, I get angry and pinch my children, especially the eldest.
After joining The Parenting Project, I learned from the 'Emotional Tank' module that what children really need is attention and love, not anger. My husband and I are now learning to control our emotions and even ask for forgiveness when we have acted harshly.
