The Power of Prayer That Brought This Man Back into God's Loving Embrace

CBN Partners, have you ever heard the story of someone who once walked away from God and then came back into His loving embrace? That's what happened to Mr. Anto (43 years old) from Blitar, East Java.
Ever since he decided to leave God and marry a woman of another faith, his life had lost its way. The comfort of life as a ship's officer led him to fall into nightlife for five years.
The pandemic changed everything. Without work for eight months, Mr. Anto was stuck in Jakarta, his savings dwindling. The stress was overwhelming, not only because of his financial situation, but also because he was worried about his wife and two children. This pressure made him sick and haunted by nightmares of death.
In the midst of his despair, he came across the Solusi program on YouTube. The stories of restoration he saw touched his heart and motivated him to contact CBN Prayer Center. What he found was far more precious - God's love! Through prayer and guidance, he repented and gave his life to Christ.
As time passed, new hope began to grow. With the support and prayers of the CBN team, he struggled to find a job and eventually returned to work on a ship. Over the next five years, he learned to rely on God in prayer and meditating on God's Word, promising that when his life was restored, he would be willing to be baptized.
God is faithful! Earlier this year, Mr. Anto secured a job as a cook on a European cargo ship with an excellent salary. This unexpected provision from God led Mr. Anto to fulfill his promise of faith and be baptized, surrendering his life completely to God.

Praise God! Mr. Anto believes the restoration he experienced is a testament to the power of prayer. He tells CBN Prayer Center, 'Keep praying for people like us-those who are lost and fallen in sin. The power of prayer is unbelievable. I've proven it,' said Mr. Anto.
