CBN’s Mission Trip themed “Go & Make Disciples” was successfully held from July 17–20, 2025. This event brought together 11 participants who felt called to serve children and families within CBN partner church communities in Kupang and Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara.
Though relatively short, the trip offered a deeply meaningful experience for each participant. They witnessed firsthand the fruit of CBN’s holistic ministry—how local churches, regional facilitators, and teachers from early childhood programs, Sunday Schools, and the School of Life work hand in hand toward a shared vision: to disciple the next generation of children and parents every single day.
Participant Involvement
Upon arriving in Kupang, participants immediately engaged in serving children through the Super5 early childhood program and the School of Life. They also joined in a joyful outdoor screening of Superbook with the children. With warmth and sincerity, they offered hugs, listened with empathy, and built genuine connections—not only with the children but also with parents who attended discipleship sessions through The Parenting Project program.
Hans, the youngest participant on this Mission Trip, shared how deeply moved he was by the opportunity to serve and sow the Word of God into the lives of children in Kupang and Sumba. “I’m really happy and love the kids here in the Super5 program. I had so much fun with them—we gave out gifts, played games, and everyone had a great time. Most importantly, we brought the name of Jesus here and shared the Word of God,” he expressed.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Anna, who joined a CBN Mission Trip for the first time, couldn’t hide her emotions. She was filled with gratitude as she witnessed the powerful impact of CBN’s ministry. “This is my first time seeing the impact of CBN’s ministry in person. I was truly moved. To all of you serving with CBN—I pray that you keep your spirits high because you are doing an extraordinary work for eternity,” she said.
